' ' is a sushi restaurant along Polk St. This has now become my favorite sushi place in our neighborhood. They offer a good selection of sushis and entrees as well. I've found that their sushi is very fresh. My favorite sashimi is the sake (salmon) their chefs knowto select the best cuts and it's always fresh, not too fatty. Sometimes I'll order some tuna as well, with some steamed rice and miso soup my favorite Japanese comfort food. I'll tried the donburis (chicken and pork) as well and the portions are large and the sauce is done just right. I've tried their ramen noodles very well made and the broth was cooked and flavored right. Once or twice I've had a craving for friend ice cream and I come here the crust is nice and light while the ice cream remains cold. We tried a lot of their rolls and nigiri all quite good and it's a good time to try some exotic sushi. We had so many that night. The inari nigiri and sake nigiri were particularly good. The fried spicy rolls were delicious as well it's hard to order something that's not good here.

Fresh fish, great happy hour deals, and friendly service!
Food: wow. I was honestly blown away by each handroll I tried. The fish to rice ratio was generous and all of the flavor combinations were delicious. My favorite was the Tai hand roll, but it was such a close race
Service: super friendly and efficient!
Ambiance: clean and chic
I'll absolutely be back!

I recently visited Nara Sushi on Polk St. and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the sushi. The fish was incredibly fresh and expertly crafted with care.
We ordered:
Hamachi truffle 5/5 - delish, would definitely order again
Loco crunchy roll 5/5 - loved the addition of mango in the roll
Spicy chicken karaage 3/5 - wasn't as crispy as anticipated
Chirashi bowl - 5/5
The restaurant itself is quite small and intimate, which added to the overall experience. However, it can get quite busy during dinner time so be sure to make a reservation or join the waitlist via yelp. The service was prompt and attentive despite the rush of customers.
Overall, I highly recommend Nara Sushi for anyone looking for top-notch sushi in a cozy setting. Just be prepared for it to be a bit crowded during peak hours.

Really enjoyed Nara. Just picked this place randomly not knowing what to expect.
First off I got lucky with street parking, a lot of reviews say it's hell around here but I didn't have that experience personally on a Sunday at 5PM -- maybe come early.
Place is small but cozy and we were sat quickly, no wait. I think it was happy hour when we came.
We got:
1) Chicken Karaage: Very well made. Noticeably a good balance of meat with the fried crispiness for a good balance and the sauce provided was good too.
2) 10pc Omakase Nigiri: Loved it, they brought it out on long trays and explained each piece of fish to us. The fish was fresh and delicious. I think it was $60 per person which felt pretty fair for how good it was.
3) Sapporo: We ordered beer which was $6 each and to my surprise they actually brought out a decent sized bottle for each of our orders, which ended up being closer to 24-30oz rather than a single glass.
Really liked this place, I'd recommend it to anyone.
